I was at the store this morning and I came across these cute Valentine Patterned Pocket Tissue Packets. I thought they would make great treats for my Seniors,and I know they would definitely be used. Then I saw the cute Puppy and Kitten Valentine's cards, and the polka dot basket, so I knew I had a project.
The Valentine's Day Cards came with a variety of stickers, so I used those to attach the cards to the tissue packets. I addressed all the cards to the folks I see regularly. I put the extra cards in the basket as well with a flower festooned pen so just in case I run across someone I may have missed, or I make a new friend, or just see someone in one of the facilities who needs to know that someone cares, I will have one for them.It doesn't take much to brighten someones day and the little things count in a big way.
